Day 1: Leave Midland, TX and head toward Moriarty, NM to spend the night. We trailered the KLR's to save our butts for riding in the mountains of Colorado.
Day 2: We got up early and drove to Silverton,
CO for lunch. Then we headed to our hotel in Ouray, CO. Once in Ouray we unloaded
the bikes and hit the trails. Rain was in the forecast and we could see the
clouds in the mountains, so we had the rain gear ready.

Day 4: Silverton by truck. We traded the bikes for the truck today. We started in Silverton, CO on Stony Pass. We crossed the pass and went just a little further when the weather started looking bad and ice started falling from the sky. We headed toward Cinnimon Pass a little before noon.
